Research Funding

Ball State received approximately $14.1 million in external grants for research and education projects in 2011-12. Nearly 60 percent of grants supported research activities and academic support, with the rest dedicated to institutional and instructional support along with public service. Many awards come from government, foundations, business, and nonprofit organizations.
