Year Two Progress Report: Building on Our Momentum

When Education Redefined: Strategic Plan 2007-2012 was introduced, our faculty members, staff, and students began executing the goals and objectives without delay. Now in the second year of implementation, we continue to build on our achievements and are well on our way to meeting approximately 80 percent of the more than 100 defined objectives.

Our departments are creating more immersive learning experiences for our students, our retention rate continues to increase, and our academic programs continue to earn national recognition. We are contributing to Indiana’s economy through our Emerging Media Initiative and helping Indiana’s communities through our Building Better Communities projects. In addition, we continue to make the Ball State campus a better community in which to learn, live, and work.
