Applied Anthropology Laboratories

Curation

The Applied Anthropology Laboratories (AAL) is one of only a handful of curation facilities in the state of Indiana. We provide long-term, secure, and environmentally controlled storage for archaeological materials and associated records and reports collected during cultural resource management (CRM) projects, research excavations, and other activities.

We currently house thousands of collections from CRM surveys and research excavations, as well as private donors, and are an approved curation facility for Indiana Department of Transportation projects.

For more information on our curation services, including our curation policy and prices, contact us.
