After CBER

At the Center for Business and Economic Research, we take pride in preparing our students for their professional futures.  Take a look at what some of our past students and employees have gone on to do after their time at CBER.

Past Students

Research/Administration

Hilary Fichter worked at CBER as an undergraduate research assistant.  She works at Ernst & Young on the assurance staff.

Kevin Kroll worked at CBER as a graduate research and GIS assistant.  He is a transportation planner at Alliance Transportation Group.

Kevin Kuhlman worked at CBER as a graduate research assistant.  He is now team lead of application services at First Merchants Corporation.

Nicole (Lengrich) Scheumann worked at CBER as a student receptionist.  She is an associate underwriter at Medical Protective.

Jacob Webb worked at CBER as an undergraduate research assistant.  He is now a junior treasury analyst at First Merchants Corporation.


Design/Technology

Nick Basham worked at CBER as a student graphic designer.  He worked as a graphic designer for The Cre8tive Group and now owns his own firm, Nick Basham Design.

Christine Bradway worked at CBER as a student graphic designer.  She now is a graphic designer at IronGate Creative.

Ben Easley worked at CBER as a student graphic designer.

Marty Filogamo worked at CBER as a student receptionist and a student graphic designer.  He now works for the Country Music Association (CMA) as a production coordinator.

Kelly Goffiney worked at CBER as a student graphic designer.  She now a junior architect at Kliment Halsband Architects.

Amy (Buck) Haneline worked at CBER as a student graphic designer.  She now is employed at The Indianapolis Star as a digital journalist.

Greg Hudson worked at CBER as a student graphic designer.  After graduation, he completed a graphics internship at Walt DisneyWorld.  He is a designer for the National Wildlife Federation.

Noah Meadors worked at CBER as a student graphic designer.  He is an art director at Bradley and Montgomery and has worked with client brands including Microsoft, MTV, Chase, and Sony Entertainment.

Sarah Rambeau worked at CBER as a student graphic designer.  After graduation, she spent three years as an English teacher in Cameroon (Africa) through the Peace Corps.  She works as a marketing and communications professional at CH2M HILL.

McKenzie Records worked at CBER as a student graphic designer.  She has a design internship with POSSIBLE advertising agency, working with clients including P&G.

Alyssa Sander worked at CBER as a student graphic designer.  She is now a creative director for TownePost.com.


Past Employees

Jessica Booth worked at CBER as publications and web coordinator.  She is now production manager at The University of Utah Press and owns her own firm, Oak Street Press.

Judy Lane worked at CBER as the associate director and the associate editor of the American Journal of Business.  Upon retirement, she received the governor's Distinguished Hoosier Award, one of the highest awards a citizen can receive from the State of Indiana.  She now lives in Colorado.

Jessica (Tennant) Schillinger worked at CBER as manager of publications and web services.  She now works for the Pew Research Center as an informational graphics designer.

Nalitra Thaiprasert worked at CBER as a research economist.  She is now a lecturer at Chiang Mai University in her native country of Thailand.
