Distinguished Fellows
Distinguished educators and public servants can be named distinguished fellows of the Bowen Center by the codirectors. The fellows assist in launching and conducting research and service programs and projects.

Bart Peterson
Former Indianapolis Mayor Bart Peterson was named the first Bowen Center for Public Affairs Distinguished Fellow in summer 2008. He taught an interdisciplinary course during the 2009 spring semester and assisted in launching several initiatives including the Community Conversation Series.

Greg Fehribach
Greg Fehribach, the second distinguished fellow, was appointed in April 2009. He is an attorney and a leading consultant on accessibility design. Fehribach is currently directing research on employment barriers facing people with disabilities.
