What is Insight and Research?
Media is a constant and pervasive presence in our lives, saturating nearly every environment and interaction. Insight and Research at the
Center for Media Design at Ball State University is charged with exploring and evolving relationship with media and their impact on our lives. To address these issues, we focus on three key research spheres:
Media Behavior: Now and Next The evolving patterns of media behavior and consumption across all media and how they are likely to develop in the future.
Emerging Media: Form and Function
Seeking to understand consumer interaction with interfaces, devices, and content across various emerging media platforms.

A new initiative charged with exploring consumer attitudes, behaviors, and motivations regarding interactive TV applications on the TV screen, on second-screen devices and applications unbound from TV content.
