Have you always thought about what your home would look like if you built from scratch? Well let’s get those ideas out on paper – and learn about the design/build process at the same time. We’ll discuss the benefits of hiring an architect to design a home, discuss space layouts, typical dimensions of rooms and furniture and learn how to sketch design ideas and draw a basic floor plan to scale. You’ll be introduced to typical building materials and some atypical materials that are great for residential use. Supply list will be given the first night of class—supplies not costing more than $20. Class does not meet April 4.
