James W. Dye Entrepreneurship Scholarship

James W. Dye grew up in a small town in northwest Indiana. After graduating high school, he attended Indiana University where he cultivated his interest in real estate. He began building homes which segued into constructing luxury apartments and built a legacy in the industry for over two decades. He then moved into the investment business and following that, he and his wife, decided to start the James W. and Betty Dye Foundation.

The scholarship award is for up to three thousand dollars ($3,000) per semester for undergraduate tuition only. The number of scholarships awarded is based upon the number and quality of applications, current number of awards in progress, and budgeting requirements.

 

Eligibility

  • The applicant must be a U. S. Citizen
  • The applicant must have graduated from a high school in Indiana
  • The applicant must be in the spring semester of their sophomore year
  • The applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale
  • The applicant must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student in the Miller College of Business
  • The applicant must have declared a major in Entrepreneurial Management
