Schedules and Required Courses

The undergraduate degree program in entrepreneurial management can be completed in an eight semester series over the course of four academic years. Please note the following:

  • The core classes of the major begin the fall semester of your junior year
  • It takes two full years to complete the major in sequence
  • MGT 241 must be completed before your junior year

Required Coursework in Entrepreneurial Management Major (21 hours):  

  • MGT 241: The Entrepreneurial Experience (taken during freshmen or sophomore year) 
  • MGT 341: Opportunity Identification
  • MGT 346: Product and Service Design
  • MGT 347: Business Model Generation 
  • MGT 441: Entrepreneurial Decision Making 
  • MGT 443: Venture Financing  
  • MGT 449: New Venture Creation 

Entrepreneurship Electives (choose 6 hrs): 

  • TEDU 102: Design Techniques 
  • TMFG 161: Introduction to Manufacturing Industries 
  • TDPT 280: 3D Prototyping 
  • MGT 361: Managing Human Resources 
  • MGT 369: Management Internship 
  • MGT 409: Business Ethics
