Nationally Ranked Program

Our entrepreneurship program has been highlighted not only for its demanding curriculum and excellent faculty but also for its unique New Venture Creation course, emphasis on immersive learning, our national business plan competition, and other student organizations.

Since 2000, the undergraduate entrepreneurship program has been ranked in the Top 15 America’s Best College for Undergraduate Entrepreneurship seven times by U.S. News & World Report.

In 2007, Ball State was the only Indiana college or university listed in all three national rankings. The honors included being ranked 20th of America’s Top 25 Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Programs by Entrepreneur and Princeton Review, Top 25 America’s Best Colleges for Entrepreneurship in Fortune Small Business in addition to another spot in the Top 10 America’s Best Colleges for Undergraduate Entrepreneurship in U.S. News & World Report.

Our undergraduate program was also been ranked first in Public University for Entrepreneurship in U.S. News & World Report in 2000 and 2004 and first in Entrepreneurship Programs for Regional Universities in Entrepreneur in 2003.
