Race 2 Market: Business in the Fast Lane

Business students in Ball State University’s nationally ranked Entrepreneurship Program have partnered with the Indiana Motorsports Association to source technologies for commercialization. Through an intensive 15-month capstone project, entrepreneurship students transfer existing racing technologies to new markets. Starting in their junior year, students research and discover a product concept and business model. An entrepreneurial internship with the host company will be created over the summer between the students junior and senior year to aid in the field research process. During the fall and spring of the senior year a conceptual prototype and business plan will be created.
