We provide course development, professional development, and faculty research support. Our support service is conducted in a dynamic environment where team members participate and collaborate in meaningful ways, and where priorities and accomplishments are transparent and recognized.
We continue to reinvent ourselves based on the needs of learners and our evolving vision of the future for achieving academic success.
Our team of instructional design and technology consultants work with faculty and staff to provide quality instruction through a learner-centered approach to instructional design. Our instructional design team is focused on 21st Century skills such as higher-order thinking, problem solving, and technology integration. Instructional design leverages practical experience, research, and theory.
We provide resources that empower faculty and staff to serve learners and the academic community in ways which bring about change consistent with Ball State’s vision of the future as an entrepreneurial university.
We embrace the academic community by providing faculty with research support through accepted technologies and methodologies. We also contribute to communities of inquiry through scholarly educational research, conference presentations, and peer-reviewed publications.
