The Logistics and Supply Chain Management Center for Excellence (LSCM Center) leverages relationships with industry professionals to create a robust academic program that prepares you for a successful career in a fast-paced, high-tech job field.

Purpose

The center is built on a foundation of four key concepts:

  • Education - Our rigorous curriculum challenges you to explore new skills and ideas both in class and through extracurricular opportunities.
  • Engagement - Our professors transform the world into a classroom through site visits, case competitions, and internship opportunities.
  • Employment - Our students build valuable industry relationships, leading to 100% job placement after graduation.
  • Excellence - Our program has experienced continuous growth since our first semester of classes in Fall 2013.

The LSCM Center creates opportunities for you to build fulfilling relationships with industry professionals and develop your career path. Site visits expose you to the underlying dynamics and cultural environment of the employers who you may work for one day. Internships allow you to "try on" a job and gain real experience in the profession. Case competitions encourage you to tackle challenges facing individual businesses or the industry as a whole. The capstone course allows you to work closely with a company partner to develop innovative solutions in your senior year.
