The Guardian Scholars Program provides not only scholarship support but also a variety postsecondary support and referral services to help recipients achieve their goal of a baccalaureate degree.

We offer support services such as:

  • Linkages to special scholarship opportunities
  • Leadership development opportunities
  • Individualized assistance with financial aid, housing, and admissions processes
  • Fast-track linkages to on-campus resources
  • Mentorship to assist you in attaining your educational goals
  • Help with the transition to campus and academic life
  • Referrals for community agencies and resources

We are pleased to announce that we are accepting applications for the 2015-2016 academic year, for incoming freshmen, current students, and transfer students. All students who wish to participate in the Guardian Scholars Program must complete and submit the application package. Guardian Scholars Program applications are accepted on an ongoing basis for postsecondary support and referral services. However, students wishing to apply for scholarship assistance must adhere to the deadlines outlined in the program application. Please contact us for any questions about the application process.

The Ball State Guardian Scholars Program also provides consultation and support to Ivy Tech staff on behalf of current and former foster youth enrolled at Ivy Tech East Central campuses in Muncie, Marion, and Anderson.
