Breaking the Prejudice Habit

Mary and her students studied the problems of stereotyping in order to create a series of animated videos that illustrate how to reduce prejudice. The seminar interviewed victims of prejudice as well as activists who are working to eradicate prejudice. In addition, the seminar examined recent social science research and consulted with their community partners, the Diversity Committee of the Society for Teaching Psychology, the Social Psychology Network and the CatalystLead Group to determine that their presentations are accurate and effective.
