Legacies of Perfection (Auburn, Cord, Duesenberg)

Hans and his students investigated how the men and machines of Auburn, Indiana, helped redefine the automobile history of the early 20th Century. The seminar worked with its community partner, the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum, and other Indiana historical organizations to produce a documentary film that showcases the subtle elegance and extraordinary engineering that were the trademarks of these three distinct automobiles. The film also revealed how the unique community of Auburn created these innovations.
