Dr. Youfa Wang was elected the Chair of The Obesity Society (TOS) Pediatric Obesity Section (POS)

Starting his term in November, Dr. Wang becomes the elected new
Chair of The Obesity Society (TOS) Pediatric Obesity Section (POS) in North America. Before he served as the Secretary, Treasurer and Chair-elect during 2014-2016. Dr. Wang is a Fellow of The Obesity Society and has been playing leadership roles in the society over the about past ten years. Learn more

Professor Youfa Wang’s team is funded by the NIH to study federal food assistance program and childhood obesity among US children
Dr. Wang’s research collaboration team recently is funded by the US Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health & Human Development (NICHD), National Institute of Health (NIH) to study the effects of US federal WIC program participation on changes in children’s food intake and weight status including obesity.
