The Fisher Institute of Health and Well-Being is actively engaged in making significant contributions to knowledge development and its application in enhancing the lives of individuals, and of the institutions and communities in which they live and work.

The Fisher Institute facilitates the interdisciplinary collaborations of faculty in both the College of Health (Counseling Psychology, Social Psychology, and Counseling; Kinesiology; Nursing; Nutrition and Health Science; Social Work; and Speech Pathology and Audiology) and other Colleges (ex. Communication Sciences; Health Economics; Medical Education; and Urban Planning) on research and/or community engagement projects.
