To pursue a major in anthropology, you must be admitted to Ball State. While our department doesn’t have specific admission guidelines, we are looking for a particular type of student for our programs.
We enjoy students who take advantage of what our department has to offer. Students who jump right in and want to be involved usually make great anthropology students. We have opportunities such as study-abroad trips and student organizations that we encourage you to join. In addition, we like potential students who have a passion for getting hands-on experience by doing research and other activities.
If this sounds like you, learn how to apply for admission to Ball State.
