Master of Fine Arts, Visual Arts (MFA)

The School of Art offers the MFA with an emphasis in Glass and an emphasis in Animation. Through concentrated study and experimentation, you will focus on your development as a professional artist. Your graduate coursework will be guided by your personal inquiry and augmented by close contact with your committee of faculty who you chose. Through your interactions with faculty and peers, you will explore ideas and techniques, interact with visiting artists and critics, and broaden your technical, aesthetic, and conceptual understanding of media within contemporary practice.

The program can be completed in six semesters and requires 60 credit hours of coursework comprised of:
