Thesis Topic: The effects of elastic resistance on concentric force, concentric power and eccentric velocity during the bench press.
Post BSU: Mike moved to Maine where he is a Human Performance Laboratory Research Assistant at the University of New England.
Scott Dueball
Thesis Topic: The effect of height on musculoskeletal injury while performing jump drop landings.
Post BSU: Scott's first experience after graduation was as an Application Engineer in Vicon's Life Sciences Division in Denver, Colorado but he's now back in Illinois working for LifeFitness as a Biomechanics Engineer. Here, he is responsible for performing exercise testing to evaluate the comfort, function, and caloric expenditure of their cardio and strength equipment to assist in the product development process.
Barbara Schornstein
Thesis Topic: Biomechanical adjustments over time of an exhaustive run: comparison of compression tights and running shorts.
Post BSU: Barb is currently an Intern with Athletes in Action at their world headquarters in Xenia, Ohio.
