College of Architecture and Planning

Libraries and Exhibits

A wealth of resources is available to assist you in your endeavors, including books, journals, drawings, digital media, and exhibits.

Thousands of volumes of academic literature and periodicals as well as access to digital media can be found in the Architecture Library, part of the university’s library system but located conveniently in the Architecture Building.

Countless slides and other images are available for viewing and use in presentations through the Visual Resources Collection and David R. Hermansen Slide Collection. Students of historic preservation frequently tap into the thousands of drawings and historic data housed in the Drawings and Documents Archive

Our Tech Library is a sort of cross between a design firm’s product library and a supplier’s showroom, quite useful for hands-on learning. And our Exhibit Gallery inside the front door of the Architecture Building showcases creative and innovative design and planning through a variety of special exhibits.
