It’s best to apply early due to the competitive nature of the College of Architecture and Planning's First-Year Program. You must be officially admitted to Ball State before your application to CAP can be considered. Such consideration typically begins in October.
If you wish to receive priority consideration for admission to the College of Architecture and Planning (CAP) you must be accepted by the university by December 1. In addition, any supplemental materials must be received by CAP (not just postmarked) by December 1. Those who miss the deadline of December 1 may be considered for the Spring Studio path. Students admitted to the Spring Studio path will begin their studio classes in the spring semester and complete the first-year program while attending summer semester.
