There’s no telling where inspiration might find you. Will it be on the vertical garden wall of the Quai Branly Museum in Paris? Will it float in the light of the Great (Bamboo) Wall House outside Beijing? Or will it lurk in the ruins of the Ostia, the harbor city of ancient Rome?
For sure, you can find it in America’s small town main streets and urban pocket neighborhoods, or late at night in your studio.
But travel outside of your culture and time zone beckons a different breed of muse.
Over the years, Ball State's College of Architecture and Planning global study programs have broadened and deepened understanding and welcomed inspiration in Italy, Germany, Greece, Russia, China, India, Southeast Asia, Australia, Mexico, South America, and Canada.
Find out more about studying architecture in Italy or southern Asia, taking an intense global architecture study tour, or studying abroad through other Ball State programs.
