Landscape Architecture

Activities and Opportunities

Ball State offers numerous ways to expand your knowledge and break up the daily grind. We offer you experiences such as guest lecturers, visiting scholars, and studio critics for presentations on campus, through interactive teleconferences, and gallery exhibits.

You also have numerous opportunities to develop a multicultural perspective though travel to significant sites, attend conferences, and participate in field study programs.

In addition, you can gain experience and work side by side with faculty on research and projects that will not only expand your skills, but will also enrich the landscape architecture field and address community needs. These opportunities exist through programs such as the Land Design Institute and numerous centers and institutes in the College of Architecture and Planning

Ball State also has more than 300 student organizations available for all students, as well as groups specific to the Department of Landscape Architecture and the College of Architecture and Planning.
