Accreditation

The urban planning program is the only accredited program of its kind in Indiana. The master’s and bachelor’s programs are both fully accredited by the Planning Accreditation Board.  In 2009, both the BUPD and MURP programs were reaccredited by the Planning Accreditation Board (PAB) until 2013.

Our bachelor’s of urban planning and development (BUPD) program was first accredited in January 1995 as a five-year program. In 2002, it was reaccredited as a four-year program. The master’s program was first accredited in January 1993 and has been reaccredited successively since that year.
