Begin your future here. The Clinical Exercise Physiology Program is one of three graduate education programs in the Human Performance Laboratory. Each fall, our 21-month program starts a new class of students who typically hold bachelor’s degrees in exercise science, pre-medicine, biology, physiology, or other allied health background. With a master’s degree in clinical exercise physiology you could serve as director of health programs in a variety of areas, including rehabilitation programs in cardiac, pulmonary, and oncology. You may also consider clinic director positions, including those for diabetes, renal disease, and heart failure. In addition, graduates serve as program directors and managers of health clubs or work as personal trainers. For those with an interest in pharmaceutical companies, a graduate degree will allow you to work in marketing, medical education, or as a research assistant.
