We offer two doctoral programs. One is an EdD in science education designed for students interested in teaching science at the college, elementary, or secondary levels. If you are interested in teaching at a small college, this program will give you the academic background to do so. You can plan a broad-based major in a science field with supporting work in education and a second science.
The other is a multidisciplinary PhD in environmental sciences which will commence in August 2011. We are now accepting applications for admission and research fellowships. Please contact Dr. James Poole if you are interested in the chemistry concentration.
