We can’t stress enough that we allow you to get research opportunities early and often in your college career, even as you're earning a bachelor's degree.
Our Chemistry Research Immersion Summer Program, (CRISP) is a great way to get research early. With the help of the summer research program, about 95 percent of our graduates are working in a field directly related to their major.
This 10-week program even lets freshmen get their feet wet.
Not only is the research opportunity great, but the equipment you will use for research is outstanding. We have a variety of cutting-edge scientific research-grade equipment that you are encouraged to use.
Instruments and equipment include 400 and 300 megahertz nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometers, several infrared and visible ultraviolet spectrometers, and much more.
