Graduate Assistantships

Our department offers graduate assistantships to help you support your studies.

You will receive a stipend of about $14,000 per year plus a remission of tuition and perks such as bookstore discounts. Larger stipends may be available to outstanding candidates. Graduate assistants pay only dedicated fees, about $470 per semester during the fall, spring, and summer semesters.

If you sign up for a teaching assistantship, you will be assigned to a six to eight weekly contact-hour teaching load in addition to your course work.
