It’s no secret we love chemistry. However, it’s important to us that we just don’t keep all of our knowledge to ourselves.
As a department, we are active on our campus and in the Muncie community. For instance, our students have a Science Day with fun activities and handouts for parents and children. They have also had local students come on campus to spend the day with them and learn more about science.
While we love getting the community excited about chemistry, our first priority is our students. We know that in this field, you have to have a stellar research program.
And we do. Our students are not only doing research with us in class, but they are doing research over the summer and in valuable internships.
