For 25 years, Ball State’s Center for Information and Communication Sciences (CICS) has prepared students to creatively solve communication and information challenges in business, government, education, and nonprofit organizations using the latest technologies. Our graduates are in demand for professional positions leading to management in one of today’s hottest industries. More than 90 percent of our students find jobs in the field—with starting salaries typically ranging from $50,000 to $80,000.

Our 11-month and 38 credit hour degree options feature applied research, community service, and immersive learning experiences.
