Certificates
Ball State offers a variety of certificate programs to supplement your education in a specific, focused area of study outside of, or related to, your degree program. Certificate programs are shorter in length than a traditional program. A certificate is a great complement to a degree or can be used to show you have received specialized training in an area in which you don’t have a degree.
The Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology has two certificates available to undergraduate students. The
advanced professionalism certificate is offered in conjunction with the Miller College of Business and can prepare you for the professional world. The
corrections certificate will give you specialized training to work in the field of corrections.
