Building Better Communities teams students up with Indiana communities, businesses, and government agencies to develop real-world solutions to real-world problems. Led by a faculty mentor, interdisciplinary student teams have the opportunity to use their expertise, education, and resources to provide services in local communities that improve the lives of the residents.

There are many projects which involve students from the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology. One of these projects, the Juvenile Justice Project is an extraordinary example of students putting classroom knowledge and skills into practice.
