Organizational Communication Minor
Those with majors in business administration, entrepreneurship, human resources management, and communication studies are the targets of this minor. It’s especially intended for students who envision themselves in a communication role focusing on the inner workings of a large corporation or organization.
It’s a 24-credit minor, with half of the course work in the Miller College of Business and the other half in the Department of Communication Studies. Required communication studies courses include Interviewing, Small Group Decision Making, Communication Leadership, and Communication in Organizations. From the business curriculum, students take Business and Managerial Communications, Managing Behavior in Organizations, Managing Human Resources, and Employee Development.
