Jazzy is from West Michigan studying Communication Studies, pursuing the Communication Liberal Arts and Science (CLAS) track. Some research interests include interpersonal communication, popular culture, childhood hunger, and poverty. In her downtime, she can be found crafting, cooking, and planning trips she can't take. Jazzy believes in the healing power of the 3 C's: cheese, coffee and comedy.

Faye is working toward her master's in counseling, focusing on the clinical mental health track. She plans to go on to a doctoral program, with the end goal of balancing a private practice and the academic career of being a university professor. Her research interests are sexuality, sexual identity development, and perceptions of integrated mental health care in primary care settings.

Timothy is passionate about the creative process behind communication, be it written, spoken, performed, or artistically carved in marble. Over the past five years, he has been studying communication with focuses on film, art, conflict resolution, and public speaking. The most recent books he’s read are Patrick Lencioni’s "The Ideal Team Player” and rereading Stephen King’s “The Stand”.

Justin hails from Tempe, Arizona. He received a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from Northern Arizona University in 2014. After graduation, Justin managed Rosati's Pizza in Tempe. In his spare time, he enjoys watching NBA basketball, listening to podcasts, and traveling to new places.

Academically, Keegan is interested in human sexuality, disability rhetoric, and the ways in which coaches and directors communicate with their students. Keegan hails from Chicago, Illinois, and went to Northern Iowa for his undergraduate degree. Outside of academics, Keegan is interested in the marching arts, starcraft, and dogs.

Berkley studies menstruation rhetoric in political protest and popular culture. She plans to pursue a Ph.D. upon completion of her MA. In her spare time, Berkley watches a lot of TV, reads a lot of books, eats a lot of candy, and spends a lot of time with the Speech Team.

Amy moved to Muncie from Lemont, IL a southwest suburb of Chicago. Attending graduate school and teaching at BSU is only one of her many adventures. In 2012 Amy work at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL and more recently she traveled to New Zealand and Australia. While aboard she studied how her peers communicated feelings of homesickness. Amy has also focused her research in the importance of interpersonal communication in organizations and university and community identity. Amy is thrilled to be working and learning at BSU! Her research interests are interpersonal relationships, specifically romantic relationships.S amantha enjoys a variety of things: spending time with her family (especially her adorable, spunky, two-year-old boy) eating sweets, traveling, and reading magazines such as HGTV and People, etc. When she feels bold, she stays up until midnight or 3 in the morning binging on Netflix. Dakota is a fun-loving graduate student who just so happens to be a double masters student in Communication Studies and CICS (Center for Information and Communication Sciences). His favorite place on campus is the Jo Ann Gora Recreation Center he is literally there everyday. Dakota's favorite activities are anything new and adventurous, especially when it comes to travel. His future goals are to be done with school forever in the summer of 2017 and enter the professional world where he hopes to be one of the best consultants that ever was and or is. He has also done debate for about nine years now, which is where he got most of his public speaking abilities.

Once she receives her Master’s Degree form Ball State (she’s on the Organizational and Professional Communication Development track) she hopes to manage many a creative project that combine her professional skills as well as her academic interests.

Sarah is from the social psychology and sport and exercise psychology programs with a special interest in studying exercise motivation and adoption through the lifespan. She is obsessed with group fitness and teaches yoga, kickboxing, and plyometric classes around the area. In her spare time, Sarah loves watching anything with the actor Colin Firth, listening to all music, and reading Harry Potter.
