We admit it—we like dropping names. We’re proud that our facility is called the David Letterman Communication and Media Building, named after the late night television icon and Ball State graduate. Even more important than the name, though, is what the facility offers our students: a comfortable, state-of-the-art learning environment.

Built in 2007, the David Letterman Communication and Media Building supports the communication studies and telecommunications departments as well as the Center for Information and Communication Sciences and the Center for Media Design. It’s packed with advanced technology—the same kind found in communication workplaces—ready to provide students with hands-on experiences. And learning is enhanced by its light-filled instructional areas, research labs, offices, and socialization areas. It’s even environmentally friendly.
