Guest Students

Guest student status is granted to students who want to take online courses while enrolled in another college or university.

1. Undergraduate students from other colleges or universities can apply for guest enrollment through the Office of the Registrar to take a Ball State class for credit. You must be in good standing at your school (minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale). Financial aid is not available to guest students.
   
   
2. Graduate students from other institutions can enroll in graduate courses as a guest student if you are not taking courses toward a graduate degree or licensure program. Learn more about guest student clearance on the Graduate School Web site.
