So what were the distinctions and services that helped put us on the GI Jobs honor roll for the last four years?
- More than 60 online undergraduate and graduate programs from which to choose
- One-on-one academic advising and support for active military, veterans, spouses, and families
- Competitive tuition and financial aid assistance from the GI Bill, Yellow Ribbon Program, and other programs
- Professional and faculty mentor-partners from eight key university offices have committed to work individually with veterans and their dependents to help them achieve their goals
- Was recipient of a Military Family Research Institute Grant in 2011 to fund enhanced services for military personnel and veterans
- Employs full-time, veterans benefits certifying official in its office of veteran affairs
- An active Student Veteran Organization, which meets regularly to build camaraderie
In addition to the university-wide selection of Ball State as a Military Friendly School, our main campus and our Master of Business Administration (MBA) program carry their own Military Friendly designations.
