Undergraduate Admission Requirements

• Online transfer students—If you have attended or earned credits from any college or university other than Ball State, even if it was many years ago, you will need to follow the transfer student admission requirements. This includes students who earned an associate degree.
  
  
• Reenrolling Ball State students—If you have attended Ball State and earned credit (even if it was many years ago) or a Ball State associate degree, then apply as a reenrolling student. If you have attended other institutions in addition to Ball State, then follow the transfer student instructions above.
  
  
• New online and distance students—If you have never attended a college or university, learn about the freshman admission requirements. 

Once we received your official high school or college transcripts and/or GED scores, the admission process usually takes just a few days. However, please plan for at least 3-4 weeks for staff from your previous schools to send official transcripts to Ball State. We will review as soon as we receive all your application materials.

Each program has different admission deadlines. We recommend that you review the admission requirements section of the undergraduate program you are interested in to learn about deadlines relevant to you.
