Dropping or Withdrawing from a Class
- To drop or withdraw from a class, contact the instructor and guidance counselor at your school. You will also need to complete a withdrawal form.
- Any refunds are based on the date initial contact is made with Ball State regarding the drop/withdrawal or the date recorded on the withdrawal form.
- Students should discuss all withdrawals with the instructor after the change of course period.
If you do not follow this procedure, you will continue to be billed and liable for the course tuition and additional fees. Immediately upon being contacted regarding your drop or withdrawal, we will confirm with both the school and yourself. The refund will depend on the date we are contacted. Refer to the following table for the percent that will be refunded.
