Accelerated Track

Our accelerated track allows you to finish the gifted and talented license/certificate program in as little as nine months if you stay on the academic track and schedule given to you when you start your program. 

Here is an example of an accelerated track if you started in the fall:

Fall: First 8 Weeks

• EDPSY 520 Introduction to the Gifted and Talented Student (3 credit hours)

Fall: Second 8 Weeks

• EDPSY 611 Development of Creative Thinking (3)

Spring: First 8 Weeks

• EDPYS 621 Identification and Evaluation of Gifted and Talented Students (3)

Spring: Second 8 Weeks

• EDPSY 625 Models and Strategies for Gifted Learners (3)
