Dr. Jeffrey Peterson
Adjunct Instructor
In addition to his teaching duties, Jeffrey Peterson is graduate program director of the Department of Health, Human Performance, and Recreation and serves as coordinator of the sport management program at Baylor University. He has coached and taught sport management in several collegiate settings and is former coordinator of the undergraduate program in sport administration at Ball State.
An active researcher, Peterson’s work has appeared in more than 25 peer-reviewed journals, and he has made more than 70 refereed presentations at state, national, and international conferences. His primary areas of research include sport facility design and management, sport management curriculum and pedagogy, and youth sport. He earned his Ph.D. in sport administration from the University of New Mexico.
Peterson’s resume also includes stints as teacher, coach, and athletic director at the high school level.
