Courses You Will Take

The Ball State MBA includes a minimum of 10 courses: eight core courses, plus you can choose from several electives. You choose two electives if you want a general MBA or three electives from a specific area if you want a concentration. 

If you were not a business major as an undergraduate student, you may have to take some or all of our foundation courses if an equivalent class is not on your academic transcript. Your academic advisor will inform you if you need to take any foundation courses.

MBA Core Courses (24 credit hours)

MBA Electives (6 credit hours for general MBA or 9 credit hours for a concentration)

Entrepreneurship (open only to students pursuing the entrepreneurship concentration)

    Finance  (Learn about the finance concentration)

      Health Economics, Policy, and Administration (Learn about one of the nation's few MBA-level health economics concentrations)

      Information Systems (Learn about the information systems concentration)

      Operations  (Learn about the operations concentration)

        Sales Management   (Learn about one of the nation's few MBA-level sales management concentrations)
