Requirements for the Operations Concentration

In the MBA concentration in operations, you will learn to be a leader among plant managers, quality assurance managers, purchasing managers, logistics managers, and others who are key to the daily operations of a business. You’ll learn about detailed production functions and how to make production decisions, using modern techniques for motivating and learning in organizations.

For the operations concentration, you will need to take nine hours among the following courses:

• ISOM 654 Project Management (3 credit hours)
• ISOM 655 Quality Management (3 credit hours)
• MGT 661 Human Resources Management (3 credit hours)
• MBA 623 Electronic Commerce (3 credit hours)
• MBA 625 Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (3 credit hours)
• MBA 699 Internship (1-3 credit hours)
