Ball State University's online emerging media journalism courses are designed to help working journalists and other communication professionals learn to use new technologies and to deliver compelling stories (text, video, audio) for the web and other media platforms. The classes also can supplement the educational experience of journalism and mass media students at other colleges and universities who do not have emerging media journalism programs.
Our courses can lead to an emerging media journalism certificate, or you can simply pick and choose the courses that best fit your career goals. The asynchronous delivery ensures that you can conveniently fit your studies into your schedule, since there is no scheduled time to meet each week.
