Fall 2013 (August 19-December 13)
- March 4: Classes offered may be viewed online
- April 1-First day of class: Registration for online fixed-time and online asynchronous courses and on-site courses in the Greater Indianapolis area. Note that not all online and off-campus courses start the first day of the semester, so the registration date varies per course.
- August 19: Classes for many online and distance courses start this week. But check your schedule, since there are many variations.
- August 23: Late registration and change-of-course end for classes starting the week of August 19
- September 2: Labor Day; the university is closed
- October 23: Course withdrawal period ends for semester-long online and distance classes
- November 20-22: Thanksgiving break; the university is closed
- December 13: Semester ends
- December 14: December commencement
- December 18: Grades posted
- December 16-January 3: Semester break
Note that many online and distance education classes do not follow the same schedule as main-campus classes. Make sure you are aware of all start, end, withdrawal, and other important dates related to your classes. Time ticket is required for registration.
