Most Ball State students receive assistance to offset the expenses of education. Visit the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships for information on scholarships, grants, loans, and other options. And learn more about tuition and expenses from the Office of Bursar and Loan Administration.
In addition, be sure to explore the variety of scholarships offered by the Department of English to undergraduate and graduate students. There are jobs available too.
Assistantships, awards from the Alumni Association, and grants are available to graduate students.
Some of our awards for undergraduate students include monetary awards, while others bestow honor.
In addition to these opportunities, our department’s Graduate Student Advisory Board and the university’s Office of Research and Sponsored Programs offer travel and research grants.
All scholarships and awards are given to deserving and promising students at the discretion of the department, and they are awarded without regard to race, sex, religion, color, national origin, physical or mental disability, or age.
The deadline for all Department of English awards and scholarships is during the spring semester, typically early March.
