I specialize in early modern and medieval literature and culture. At Ball State, I teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses on British literature and Shakespeare. My current book project, Disruptive Compliance: Silent Women in Stuart Drama, is in the final stages of revision. As I’ve worked on the project, a number of chapters have appeared in journals such as The Journal of Narrative Theory and Studies in English Literature, 1500-1900. In addition, I am a regular participant in professional conferences including the Shakespeare Association of America and the Group for Early Modern Cultural Studies.
