I specialize in narrative theory, particularly as it is applied to American fiction after 1860 and cinema studies. I have taught a range of undergraduate and graduate courses at Ball State, including two Immersive Learning projects.
Most of my time right now, however, is spent in the Dean’s office, where I handle curriculum, student affairs issues, and events planning for the college. I have a volume entitled Visual Media and the Humanities: A Pedagogy of Representation
